- Hi all,
-
- Does anyone know where I could get hold of a new motherboard for an
- Amiga A4000/030 in the _UK_. I just need the bare motherboard (i.e. not
- the processor daughter card).
-
- Why? Well, I've been given an old A4000/030 that was damaged by its
- original owner when he tried to install the Kickstart 3.1 ROMs -- we
- don't know exactly what he did wrong, but it appears the ROMs were
- inserted the wrong way round (either back-to-front or the HI ROM in the
- LO ROM sockect and vice-versa...). How the blew up the motherboard
- god knows, but it did (I've tested it by pulling bits out of my
- A4000/040, and it defiantly appears the motherboard has gone...
-
- So, anyone know an answer to the first questions, or alternatively what
- may be wrong with the motherboard (OK, I know there's not much info here
- but I ain't got long and it would take ages to give the exact details of
- the system (it is however a revision 3.2 motherboard with a R11 Super-
- Buster)...
-
- Cheers in advance for _any_ help,
-
- Alex...
